Divine Knowledge of putting red bindi on forehead.

 Shri Mataji Nirmaladevi has given so much divine knowledge to us,  of whichwe are aware of  very few things..  Just for information of all, some points are mentioned below.

• The importance of putting a bindi on forehead
  Bindi is made with a substance called Lead Oxide. Lead Oxide is also called Sindhoor in Hindi. It is a cooling thing and is very good for right sided people. For them if it is put on Agnya it cools them down and controls anger. Thus, it helps to protect and clear Agnya chakra

In India generally majority of the women from hindu community wear bindi, " a red dot of sindur or kumkum" on the forehead.  But in sahajayoga everybody, men or women, boys or girls puts bindi on the forehead.  It has great importance in protecting agnya chakara and relating one with god and also keeping away demons

• why do we put red mark here? I mean many people don’t put it; many ladies also these days don’t put it. The red mark is because, if you put the red mark, then the red is the sign of innocence, is the sign of innocence, is the sign of a person who believes in innocence and all the bad prakrutis, all the dusht prakrutis which are against God are frightened of the red. That’s why we wear this special red just to frighten them. Specially the ladies are very easy to catch these depressing moods from others, like a woman has a hysteria another one has hysteria. All these depressing moods can be controlled if you can put the red here. Men should also put the red is a good idea. But it’s a very difficult thing to tell people who are so fashionable that they find it’s impossible to put a red mark on the head, but red mark is the one that saves you all. In Sahaja Yoga what we do, those people who suffer from such affectations in the psychosomatic side, we ask them to put a vibrated red mark in the night when they sleep and they have been cured. It’s very simple. But to believe in it is an impossibility for people, that how can a red mark solve it. But it is vibrated, means there is a Brahma Shakti inside it and it protects from all outside forces.
