7th chakra- Sahasrara Chakra
The seventh center (Sahasrara) is the chakra which integrates all the chakras with their respective qualities. It is the last milestone of the evolution of human awareness. Nowadays, we are at a level which corresponds to this chakra, and our consciousness is able to easily enter into this new realm of perception, which is beyond our limited mind and concepts, and which becomes absolute at the level of the Sahasrara. It is the direct, absolute perception of Reality on our central nervous system. This is precisely what is achieved through the Self-Realization, through the spontaneous awakening of the Kundalini given by Sahaja Yoga.”
www.sahajayoga.org
Also called the "Crown Chakra or Mystic Chakra" the seventh Chakra, which is located at the top of the head, is light years beyond the lower Chakras. The true nature of the seventh Chakra is beyond human comprehension. The advice of all teachers on the kundalini path, is not to ever try to push oneself into seventh Chakra consciousness. This experience will come, when one's nervous system is fully prepared for such infinite realization and union with the creative force of the universe. However, in regular kundalini meditation, it is important to focus one's attention for at least short periods directly to this center so that one's energetic system can balance itself and you can open, to the inflow of energy from above. There should be no inhibition regarding direct focusing on the seventh Chakra. As long as one don't use special techniques for over stimulating this Chakra, a regular and quite natural inflow of white-light energy and insight can be received.
The sahasrara Chakra controls the pineal gland in the brain. Medicine claims that this mysterious gland is defunct. But Yogis for thousands of years have come to know intimately from the inside out that the pineal gland is awakened through kundalini energy and begins secreting only when we become spiritually awakened. In fact, bio-chemically, it is possible to talk about enlightenment as a state where the pineal gland is regularly secreting special hormones into the body's lower glandular system. In more spiritual terms, to regularly include the seventh Chakra in our kundalini balancing meditations is to welcome the universal Holy Spirit to flow downward into our physical and energetic bodies, and to flood our lives with the ultimate healing and inspirational power of the universe.”

GENERAL ADVICE FROM SHRI MATAJI
There are hardly any self-healing remedies available for clearing the Sahasrara Chakra. Meditation and establishing the thoughtless state to attain the Turiya state and beyond has been constantly emphasized by Shri Mataji. The most effective is to put attention on the affected chakra during meditation and allow the Mother Kundalini to heal. Remain in the thoughtless state while you work on the affected chakra.
Always remember this quote of Shri Mataji:"Kundalini will rise and She will cleanse you completely. Kundalini will rise and always cleanse the chakras."
Shri Mataji Nirmala DeviSydney, Australia, March 31, 1991
Once this is power is established no external rituals are required as catches will be healed instantly and constantly by the Mother Kundalini within. Until and unless external cleansing rituals are discarded this power will never be established.

6th chakra in our body- Agnya Chakra
Agnya Chakra is situated in the centre of the brain area, and represents the sixth stage of human evolution. We can identify its position as the middle point of the forehead. The Agnya Chakra is the gateway to the Sahasrara Chakra, the Kingdom of God.When the Kundalini passes through this Chakra, our thought waves elongate so that the space between the two thoughts grows wider. This space is Silence and as the petals of the Chakra open up, Silence blossoms in this centre and spreads outwards, pushing our thoughts to the periphery of our awareness. This is where the state of thoughtless awareness or Nirvikalpa Samadhi happens through the Grace of Shri Jesus. In this state we actually feel the beautiful Silence, the Stillness, which is at the heart of creation.
Quality- The primary quality of the Agnya Chakra is forgiveness. Inflated egos, arrogance, aggressiveness, condemnation, contempt, and worry cause this Chakra to be blocked and gives tension to the whole body.At this point in our evolution humans have developed a sophisticated society, and with it came the problem of ego — the idea that he is doing it all. This idea of "I"-ness was accelerated by the continuing success of his material gains throughout history. The natural result of this brought about an inflated ego, and with further arrogance came the superego. So ego and superego isolated the human from Spirit. The ego and superego are located at the uppermost endpoints of the channels of Ida Nadi (the Moon Line or Left Channel) and Pingala Nadi (the Sun Line or Right Channel). These two channels cross over at the Agnya Chakra. Everything related to the past (such as memories, conditionings and emotions) accumulates as a residue in the Superego on the right side of the brain, having crossed over from the Left Channel. Everything relating to the future (such as thinking, planning and action) likewise accumulates as a residue, but in the ego on the left side of the brain. Therefore, before Self-Realization we are always in various stages of imbalance. The Ego and Superego border the outlying regions of the subtle universe. The Superego is in the individual Subconscious realm where all of our past knowledge and experience are stored. Beyond this is the Collective Subconscious, which is the area where spiritualists and mediums ply their trade of the past. The Ego is in the individual Superconscious, the realm of the future. It is in the Collective Supraconscious that clairvoyants, visionaries and seekers of power conduct their business of the future. Exploration of any of these realms is extremely dangerous.
TRADITIONEn route to the Sahasrara Chakra, the Sushumna channel passes through the centre Agnya Chakra. This is the place of Lord Jesus and Mary. Jesus said that He is the Path, and it is His Path that leads us to the Kingdom of Heaven in the Sahasrara. The coming of Christ was a major breakthrough in the human spiritual ascent. Through His power of forgiveness He brought redemption to humankind. He dissolved all the guilt, sublimated the Ego, taught forgiveness and proclaimed the immortality of the Spirit through His Resurrection. He was born again into the Spirit, and we also are born again into our spirit when our Mother Kundalini gives us our second birth.
GROSS PHYSICAL ASPECTAmongst other things, the Agnya Chakra governs our sight. We should therefore respect the eyes as a gift with which the beauty of the Divine creation is revealed to us. We should not abuse it by having adulterous eyes.
Left AgnyaCauses of catch or obstruction on left ring fingerA "catch" is an imbalance. If we feel heat or tingling, or maybe even numbness in our fingertips, it means that our kundalini is alerting us to an imbalance in a particular chakra.'Your left ring finger will speak' if there is harm to self, self-pity, inability to forgive oneself, living in the pastCLEARING BLOCKAGE OF LEFT AGNYA CHAKRAOne of the most effective is the mantra of Shri Mahavira:OM TWAMEVA SHAKSHAT SHRI MAHAVIRA SHAKSHATSHRI ADI SHAKTI MATAJI SHRI NIRMALA DEVI NAMOH NAMAH
Right AgnyaCauses of catch or obstruction on right ring finger'Your right ring finger will speak' if there wrong ideas about God, harm to others, worries, aggression, egotism, futurism
CLEARING BLOCKAGE OF RIGHT AGNYA CHAKRAOne of the most effective is the mantra of Shri Buddha:OM TWAMEVA SHAKSHAT SHRI Buddha SHAKSHATSHRI ADI SHAKTI MATAJI SHRI NIRMALA DEVI NAMOH NAMAHMeditate twice a day, at dawn and dusk, and allow the Mother Kundalini to heal you from within. Please always remember that you are healing your mind, body and soul to attain the eternal spirit/moksa as promised by all the holy scriptures and messengers of God Almighty/Brahman. Daily meditation is by far the most important means for nourishing your physical and spiritual well-being. No external treatments are required once you have established regular daily meditation.

“The Agnya ChakraThe sixth chakra is the chakra of forgiveness and compassion. Forgiveness is the power to let go of anger, hatred and resentment and to discover, in humility, the nobility and generosity of the Spirit. It is the one that dissolves all our ego, conditionings, habits, false ideas of racialism, and all our misidentifications. It is the narrow gate which opens the way for our consciousness to ascend to its final destination, which is the seventh center.Roving eyes, watching impure things, or self-centeredness damage this chakra. Watching the sky, earth or nature can help cleanse it.”www.sahajayoga.org

Personal experience of Sahajayoga explained by a student
I was very much a loner in school, I had no friends, I was scared of teachers, I could not understand all that I was studying and every one of the teachers commented: “She is capable of performing better if she worked harder.” It didn’t make any sense to me except that I felt real bad inside.
I met Shri Mataji for the first time when I was in fifth grade. The moment I saw Her I felt my heart fill with Her love. I don’t know exactly what happened but the sadness within me disappeared. Immediately after, my class ranking rose to fifteenth! Not impressive, I agree, but it was the best I had ever managed and somehow this gave me a lot of confidence and, for the first time, I felt interested in the subjects I was studying. Lessons began making sense, teachers started showing me a little love and now I had friends. I knew that Shri Mataji had changed my environment – but in retrospect, was it my environment that changed or had I?
I transferred to high school and for the rest of that academic year, my ranking varied between first and tenth. I was elected as monitor for two consecutive years and was nominated for House Captain. I had lots of friends and the teachers loved me. I now enjoyed studying.
Circumstances changed, and much later, I found myself talking to the Dean of Management at the London School of Economics. I told him that even though there’s no reason to admit me to the Management program, I wish he would, because I wouldn’t let him down. So, he promised me admission provided I completed a year of Diploma in Business Studies with credit. Pure miracle! While studying, I meditated regularly and tried to put my attention at Shri Mataji’s Feet as much as possible. I used all the techniques taught in Sahaja Yoga to clean my Chakras to get in balance. When I found it difficult to be attentive I would give vibrations to my liver. When I found it difficult to memorize, I would recite “Smriti Rupena Samsthita” mantra. I ended up completing the Diploma with merit (better than credit). As a result, I ended up studying for a M.Sc in Management at LSE.
A few years later, I found myself in Mississippi where I couldn’t officially work as I didn’t have a work permit. So, I joined a college to study for a Bachelors in Computer Information Systems. I ended with 4.0 GPA and Wall Street Journal Award for Academic Excellence. My professors at University of North Alabama poured their love and compassion on to me, my co-fellows offered their friendship.
Unquestionably, my practice of Sahaja Yoga meditation changed my attitude to learning completely and I now thoroughly enjoy learning.

Situated at the level of the throat, this center controls all our articulation and our communication, the movement of our hands and arms, our facial expression and our speech, as well as the senses of taste and smell. On the physical level it caters for the Cervical Plexus
The fifth centre is called as Vishuddhi Chakra. This is placed in the neck of the human being and it had sixteen petals which look after ears, nose, throat, neck, tongue, teeth etc. This centre is responsible for communication with others because through our eyes, through our nose, through our speech, through our hands, we communicate with others. On the physical level it caters for the cervical plexus."Shri Visuddhi-Chakra-nilaya Devi(Visuddhi-chakra-nilaya [475th]: Dwelling in the Visuddha Padma of 16 petals.)
I am the ether, I am the space, and I contain the whole creation within you. I am the feeling of Oneness with all other human beings and with this universe, the Virata. In your voice I am the sweetness of words expressing the pure relationship between brothers and sisters. I am the sense of music and melodies sung in the praise of God, soothing your being and elevating it to the Divine. I came to make you aware that this universe is all a Play, a Leela, in which you are but actors. Through My Power of Yoga, of Union with the Divine that I bestow upon you, I make you the joyful witness of the whole Drama. When you surrender all your burdens to My presence awakened in you by Kundalini, then from the limited individual that you were, I raise you to unlimited beings.
The Vishuddhi Chakra represents that time in the evolution of humanity when the need for harmony and collective living becomes important. It represent everything to do with the cohesive nature of the human race, and the ability of the human being to rise above petty differences and strive to experience the unity of the Spirit.
QUALITY
One of the qualities that we need to develop for our spiritual growth is that of staying detached from the problems we face every day whilst trying to survive in the modern world. The flowering of the Vishuddhi Chakra provides us with a sense of detachment which lets us witness the Play of Life to survive in the modern world. As a result we avoid being brought down by things which seem traumatic, but are in fact simple ‘events’ or ‘coincidences’ which we must pass through to reach the Other Shore. This does not mean that we stop accepting responsibility for our actions, or that we ‘give up’ on life. It simple gives us a means to maintain a sense of perspective when we are faced with overwhelming emotional situations. We become a witness of the game, and can keep a distance from our involvement and thoughts, from our planning and conditionings, from our emotions. After our Self-Realization our ability to be a witness matures, and we see all of these things as existing outside ourselves.
These things and events are not of our Spirit; they are of the external world. In this way we strip away layers of identity to reveal our fundamental and individual essences, the Spirit. Shri Mataji says that "we see our own acting, and the whole world becomes like a drama." In the same Shakespeare likened the whole world to a stage, and us as actors on it.The Vishuddhi Chakra also embodies those qualities which govern our relationship with other members of the human race. It is key to our ability to feel and respond to our own vibrations as well as others, and deepens our spiritual awareness. It gives us a sense of oneness and harmony with the Great Circle of Life. As we become one with the Whole we begin to feel the direct evidence of the subtle system on our Chakras and those of others. This is what is meant by the actualization in Sahaja Yoga, this actual evidence of our enlightenment, which we experience on our fingertips and in our bodies. It is a fact that, as we become a collectively conscious person, we can work on the subtle system of others simply by recording the state of their Chakras on our fingers and directing our vibrations to these areas of need as required. It is like acquiring a new perception, a natural new sense of subtle vibrations. This bond of humanity is the goal that seekers have been searching for over many lifetimes, and it is starting its manifestation at this point in time, not just through myth and conception, but through the direct evidence of personal experience.
TRADITIONThe deity for this centre is Shri Krishna. He represents God in His aspect as the Eternal Witness. With absolute detachment He watches the Play (Leela) of the Cosmic drama.
GROSS PHYSICAL ASPECT
The Vishuddhi Chakra has sixteen petals, each with different qualities and functions. We should avoid lying or swearing or talking excessively as this could affect the right centre. Likewise it benefits is we use the voice for praise rather than criticism, for dignity rather than coarse frivolity. We should never be harsh or sarcastic or witty at another’s expense. We should simply aim to speak from the heart. Another way this centre can suffer is in the indiscriminate use of mantras. This is especially true in regard to mantras sold as commercial commodities. These are simple sensory dulling toys which have no relationship with our Spirit. Undergoing this type of self-hypnosis is actually anti-consciousness.
Left Vishuddhi ChakraCauses of catch/obstruction on left index fingerA "catch" is an imbalance. If we feel heat or tingling, or maybe even numbness in our fingertips, it means that our kundalini is alerting us to an imbalance in a particular chakra.'Your left forefinger will speak' if you feel guilty, become immoral, or engage in foul tongue and sarcasm.Right Vishuddhi ChakraCause of catch/obstruction on right index finger'Your right forefinger will speak' if you are fastidiousness or indulge in food that is bad for liver.Spiritual manifestation: Self-reproaching Spirit of God-Almighty within warns of aggression, arrogance, lack of collectivity and witnessing power.

Manipura Chakra - third chakra in our body
The third chakra is the power center of the body. It drives creativity and transformation. Release its energy for vitality and inspiration.
Description
It is positioned at the solar plexus and it has ten petals which match the vrittis of spiritual ignorance, thirst, jealousy, treachery, shame, fear, disgust, delusion, foolishness and sadness.
Manipura is associated with dynamism, energy, and will-power (Itcha shakti.) It is associated with the power of fire, and digestion. Manipura is said to radiate and distribute prana to the rest of the body. In this sense, it is roughly similar to the Chinese idea of the dantian in qigong.

Deities: Vahni, Rudra, Lakini

The animal designated to represent Manipura is the Ram. The corresponding element is Fire, therefore it is also known as the Fire or Sun Centre. The fire element manifests in the body as heat in the Solar Plexus. The Manipura Chakra is the centre of vitality. It controls our energy balance to strengthen and consolidate our health. This Chakra has an effect like a magnet, attracting Prana from the Cosmos. As the seat of digestive fire, this Chakra regulates the function of the Pancreas and digestive organs. Blockages in this centre can cause many health problems such as digestive disorders, circulatory disease, diabetes and fluctuations in blood pressure. However, a strong and active Manipura Chakra greatly supports good health and assists us in overcoming many illnesses. When the energy of this Chakra flows freely, the effect is like that of a power station, constantly supplying vitality - bestowing balance and strength. In the symbolic picture of the Manipura Chakra there is a Lotus with ten petals. These represent the ten Pranas, the vital forces, which control and nourish all functions of the human body. An additional symbol of the Manipura is that of a triangle with its tip pointing downward. This indicates the spreading of energy, growth and development. Activation of the Manipura Chakra frees one from negative energies and purifies and strengthens one’s vitality. The Divinities of this Chakra are Vishnu and Lakshmi. Lord Vishnu is symbolic of the evolving human consciousness that no longer contains any animal characteristic. Swadhisthan Chakra - second chakra in our body
Quality -The fundamental quality of the Swadhisthan Chakra is that of creativity. It is here that the energy for our creativity is generated. After Self-Realization we discover that the true key to creativity is in achieving the state of thoughtless awareness (nirvichara samadhi) through meditation .
Swadhisthan Chakra: The second chakra is the chakra of creativity, pure attention and pure knowledge. It is the one which connects us to the inner source of inspiration, and enables us to experience the beauty around us. The pure knowledge given by this chakra is not mental, but it is direct perception of the Reality, that can be felt in our palms and indicates our subtle blockages. Also this is the center of pure, steady attention and power of concentration."
TRADITION--The presiding deity for the Swadhisthan Chakra is Shri Brahmadeva. He represents the Creator, and has as His power Shri Saraswati, who is the Goddess of music and arts. He bestows purity, creativity, Pure Knowledge, and cuts the Knot of Maya (material attachment) and frees the seeker from earthly desires.
