Spreading Love
She had taught the sahajayogis to forgive everybody. She claims that forgiveness has great power. I personally feel that it is the most difficult thing to do in life, but with the blessings of Mataji I am also learning to forgive others, irrespective of their behaviour. It is utmost essential , Mataji says, otherwise you get involved, in hatred, jealousy and all such things, negative thinking about those people, which harms you personally, perhaps unknowingly. The feeling of retaliation can disturb you from within and you always loose balance of mind, peace of mind and get entangled with all these evil feelings. So first and foremost thing is to forgive everybody, even our worst enemies for our own interest. As the Jesus has said on Cross that " Please forgive them, they do not understand what they are doing ", like that Mataji also spreads the message of forgiveness.
Mataji's vision of Loving World - Following words express the visition of Mataji Nirmaladevi to transform this world in to World full of Love and all inmates also full of love in their heart.

Seven Chakras and Energy within Us
At the same time, within us resides a subtle system of channels (nadis) and centers of energy (chakras) which look after our physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual being.
Each of the seven chakras has several spiritual qualities. These qualities are intact within us, and even though they might not always be manifest, they can never be destroyed.
When the Kundalini is awakened, these qualities start manifesting spontaneously and express themselves in our life.
Thus, through regular meditation, we become automatically very dynamic, creative, confident and at the same time very humble, loving and compassionate. It is a process which starts to develop by itself when the Kundalini rises and starts to nourish our chakras.
Mooladhara Chakra
It is the inner wisdom that is ever present in the little children, and gets sometimes clouded by our modern lifestyles. But it is a quality which exists eternally within us and cannot be destroyed, waiting to be manifest as pure joy when the Kundalini rises.
Swadishthan Chakra
The pure knowledge given by this chakra is not mental, but it is direct perception of the Reality, that can be felt in our palms and indicates our subtle blockages. Also this is the center of pure, steady attention and power of concentration.
On the physical level it looks after our liver, kidneys, and the lower abdomen. When we think too much, this center gets drained of energy and diseases like diabetes or blood cancer can occur when this chakra goes completely out of balance.
Nabhi Chakra
On the left side, the main quality of this center is peace - clearing this chakra can relieve stress and tensions.
On the right side, it looks after our liver which is the organ of our attention and power of concentration.
When enlightened by the Kundalini, the Nabhi chakra gives us our spiritual ascent, righteousness and inner sense of morality, and complete balance at all levels in our life.
The Void
In many spiritual traditions, this area is the "ocean of illusions" that needs to be crossed with the help of a spiritual guide. When the Kundalini is awakened and passes through the Void, this principle of mastery is established within us.
Thus, as Shri Mataji says, in Sahaja Yoga you become your own guru, your own spiritual guide since you can feel on your fingertips all your subtle problems and have the power to cure them using your own Kundalini.
Moreover, establishing this center helps us get rid of all our habits, laziness, gross attachments, and everything that enslaves us in a way or another: we become our own master.
Following false "gurus" who are more interested in power tricks or your purse can damage very much the Void area. But after Self Realization, everything can be cured through the purifying power of the Kundalini in meditation.
The Heart Chakra or Anahat Chakra
After Self Realization, our attention becomes for the first time connected to our Spirit and we gradually become aware of it. Our misidentifications with our ego or conditionings drop and we start becoming identified with our Spirit, which is our true nature.
On the physical level, this chakra looks after our heart and lungs - if affected it can cause asthma or various heart conditions.
It is from our heart that the compassion and love manifests, and also the heart chakra is the one that gives us the sense of responsibility and pure behaviour towards others. The heart chakra manifests in the center (at the level of the sternum bone) as complete security and confidence.
All our worries, doubts and fears are destroyed when the heart chakra is fully enlightened by the Kundalini.
Vishuddhi Chakra
It removes all our guilts and remorses when it is opened by the Kundalini, and gives us a kind and compassionate voice. The tendencies to dominate others or to feel dominated by others, the feelings of superiority or inferiority and all jealousies are removed when this chakra is nourished by the Kundalini.
Also, the Vishuddhi is the chakra which gives us the connection with the whole, enabling us to feel our oneness and the fact that we are all part and parcel of the whole.
The Agnya Chakra
It is the one that dissolves all our ego, conditionings, habits, false ideas of racialism, and all our misidentifications. It is the narrow gate which opens the way for our consciousness to ascend to its final destination, which is the seventh center.
Roving eyes, watching impure things, or self-centeredness damage this chakra. Watching the sky, earth or nature can help cleanse it.
The Sahasrara Chakra
Nowadays, we are at a level which corresponds to this chakra, and our consciousness is able to easily enter into this new realm of perception, which is beyond our limited mind and concepts, and which becomes absolute at the level of the Sahasrara.
This chakra gives us the direct, absolute perception of Reality on our central nervous system.
This is precisely what is achieved by Self Realization, through the spontaneous awakening of the Kundalini given by Sahaja Yoga.

Laugh at your Ego not fight it
I have come across a wonderful lecture given by Mataji Nirmaladevi on 22nd October,1979 in London. Following is the extract of it-
Now how to overcome this ego, because people start seeing, gradually this, it happens. They start seeing Mr. Ego, “oh very great, you see it’s coming up, giving me ideas, alright”. You feel sometimes very depressed with the idea that this is Mr. Ego I was identified with. Alright? You see your ego. Then when you see your ego, then what do you do with it? Or if somebody says “Better watch your ego” then what happens? You start fighting it. You say “No… I will not say anything, I will just keep quiet! Let them say anything whatever they like”. Then you become another type. You become a person who is suffering from super-ego. So you are left with desires but do not act, and you’d say that “let others aggress me, I’m not going to aggress anyone, I’ll be very careful about not-aggression.” But by this kind of a thing, what happens that when you raise the left side, I mean left side which goes up on the right hand side – super-ego, it presses the ego down but again is bounced back and there’s a kind of a bouncing going on. By this behavior when you fight your ego the ego sits on your head much more. The more you try to fight ego it sits on your head. You are not to fight it. Supposing you take a balloon and start hitting it, it will hit you back further. Go on hitting it, it will go on hitting. Now which is the way to deflate this ego? How do we deflate a balloon? In the same manner, take a pin and give it a prick. You just look at yourself, say “Alright Mr. ‘So and So’, now, how do you do?” and you laugh at yourself, you say “Oh you were very unhappy you see when you saw that you were not placed very much, alright, now have a pin from me!” And that’s how you deflate it, by seeing it by all the time making fun of it, yourself, and piercing a pin into it. Not by deflating, in the way people say that you deflate the whole thing by pushing it down, or by killing it, but actually just, making a hole in it, in the same way if you start looking at yourself… and make fun.
Human beings only know very well how to make fun of themselves, no animals know that. If you learn how to make fun of yourself your ego will go down, otherwise this ego will suggest “Whatever you are doing is the best, this has to be done, that has to be done, I am the best, I am doing everything good”, and you might be torturing someone, aggressing someone, you might be just playing into the hands of ego like a madcap, and you might be a real madcap but you don’t know that you are. Because with ego a person becomes successful so-called, he becomes very brilliant, shines out, in competition he comes up, and nobody dare say a word to him otherwise he’ll have punch on the nose, you see. So also he becomes very mighty and powerful, and everybody hankers after such a behavior and such a thing. But, a time comes when he realizes that “I was hanging in the air. I forgot my basis, and now I have to come down”, like Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall and they had a great fall. Such a beautiful ryhme this thing is, written long time back. And all the Kings horses and all the men, could not put Humpty Dumpty back again, into it’s own shape you see? So don’t be Humpty Dumpties, and don’t live with that idea of being a Humpty Dumpty, is a simple thing to fight your ego and that happens very often in Sahaja Yoga, is a very common happening in Sahaja Yoga, where your Kundalini itself, you see, creates such situations, that you are flabbergasted at your ego.

Sahajayoga- effective treatment for stress and psychosomatic disorders
Conclusion -
After reviewing literature on the subject, I have discovered convincing evidence that Sahaja Yoga Meditation could be considered as effective medicine for the treatment of stress. I have also found that the treatment of stress could be considered as a means for treating psychosomatic diseases; and that anxiety, depression, work stress, hot flashes, hypertension, asthma, and epilepsy are among those treatable diseases. The data included in this thesis from Sahaja Yoga trials with psychosomatic diseases was gathered from research that was quite limited. It is important to consider the fact that the trials conducted for research were with small numbers of participants and for limited periods of time. Another important aspect to consider is that none of the researchers involved in the studies claimed to have complete expertise in the Science of Sahaja Yoga. One of the outstanding barriers to the use of Sahaja Yoga in a clinical setting is the fact that the Science of Sahaja Yoga is a spiritual experience. I would assess that much more diligent research is needed in order further understand the possibilities involved in using Sahaja Yoga as medicine (Manocha et al., 2003; Rai et al., 1993). My investigation in Sahaja Yoga led me to the hypothesis that Sahaja Yoga Meditation could be useful as medicine. Moreover, the literature shows that Sahaja Yoga Meditation could be considered effective for the treatment of stress and therefore the treatment of psychosomatic diseases.

Stress Management with Sahajayoga Meditation
Consistent stress is considered harmful - physically and mentally also. To overcome stressful situation, one of the wonderful gift to humanity is the " Sahajayoga" by Mataji Nirmadevi. In the process of Sahajayoga kundalini is awakened and what follows is a choice of righeous path in life. It teaches us how to avoid stress, and how to act and react without fear and favour.
Number of reserach studies have been conducted on this issue and it is proved beyond doubt that Sahajayoga meditation can help eliminate stress. Following changes were observed in sahajayogis during meditation and reflected in Electrical Brain Activity.
Electrical Brain Activity-
Electroencephalograph (EEG) reports indicate the following changes in the brain activity during Sahaja Yoga meditation:
1. At the initial stage, on commencing meditation, the alpha brain wave pattern increases, which creates a sense of relaxed awareness.
2. As the meditation progresses the brain activity shifts to long chains of low voltage theta activity signifying deep physiological relaxation as is attained during deep sleep states.
3. And, during a very deep meditation state, the EEG pattern again changes and this time bursts of high efficiency beta peaks occur.I
t appears from all these studies conducted that the human nervous system begins to function in an entirely different way after the Sahaja Yoga meditation practice. Some other dramatic changes clearly reported are:
1. Oxygen consumption decreases within 5 minutes of starting the meditation.
2. Heart rate and respiration rate also decrease.
3. Blood lactate concentration, which is associated with high states of anxiety, also reduces.
4. Adrenalin, which correlates with high blood pressure, drops.
5. The galvanic skin response is a measure of the activity of the sweat glands. This is related to the sympathetic nervous system that regulates the level of tension or relaxation. The Sahaja Yoga practice increases skin resistance thereby significantly reducing tension.

But after about a couple of months here I actually feel much better," says she.

Sahaja Meditation
Through Sahajayoga meditation Mataji Nirmaladevi has awakended the Kundalani present in our body , and by the grace and blessings of Mataji in time it rises above. The experience of everybody may be different, the speed at wich you catch up is also bound to be different, because you are not the same as other, with whom you desire to compare your progress.
After getting first lesson of sahajayoga meditation, we need to practice it ourself daily, atleast twice i n a day - morning and evening preferable. It hardly takes more than 5-10 minutes. Further it is so easy that you can do it confortably sitting anywhere, even on your desk during free time.
Once the seed that have been found within you, needs to be taken care of by way of frequent practice of meditation. Then it naturally grows, and manifests itself in different way. Everyone can have personal experiences- they are worth enjoying. Those just cannot be described in words properly. The awakened kundalini, our holy mother, guides us in all problems, and we are always on right path. So try to hear your inner voice, try to respect its decision and then witness the results. It will bring about total transformation within yourself.
