A REAL GURU OVERCOMES MATERIAL ATTRACTION

A REAL GURU OVERCOMES MATERIAL ATTRACTION
The whole understanding of the cosmic consciousness can be put in one little sentence: that it cannot be attracted by the gravity of any stars, earth, moon or sun.
The other attractions one has from the Mother Earth are all for food, greed, lust – materialism at its worst. It comes from matter.
All that comes from matter, once you start getting used to it you become a slave and not a guru. So the first attempt should be for anybody: to be a good guru is to get over material attraction.
In a subtler way we can see it happens like this: a lady or a gentleman buys an ashram in Sahaja Yoga. And a Sahaja yogi start living in that ashram. The owner of that house starts worrying about the house and all material things in that house rather than the emancipation of the disciples or the Sahaja yogis who are there.
The whole attention is towards the material upkeep of the house and not towards the emancipation of the Sahaja yogis who are supposed to rise into the cosmic consciousness.
And such a person, if he starts believing that he is the guru or in any way even a Sahaja yogi, he is sadly mistaken.
Where is your attention is the point. If you are the guru, where is your attention? If your attention is on the correction and the nourishment of yourself and of others then you are first of all the Sahaja yogi. And once you rise above the gravitational force of materialism, then you could be called as the guru.

Spirituality - the essence of life- Vishwa Nirmala Dharma -the acceptance

"VISHWA NIRMALA DHARMA" - THE ACCEPTANCE

💐🙏
"As you know that Vishwa Nirmal Dharma has been accepted as a federal religion in America."
Talk to Sahaja Yogis, Perth Ashram, Australia, 04-03-1990
💐🙏
"Even the U.N has also now registered us as an authentic organisation. And in America, they have accepted Sahaja yoga as the Universal pure religion. And it encompasses all other religions. And beautifully explains all the great incarnations, prophets and saints. And it integrates all of them. So If you have to have one word then we have first of all become collectively conscious through self-realization. As this is the last breakthrough of our evolution, everybody should try to get in and establish themselves in the kingdom of God. "
Barcelona, Spain
16-06-1990
💐🙏
"Now, Sahaja Yoga is recognized by the UN now. And also in America they believe in this religion of Sahaja Yoga, which we call as the Universal religion, Universal Pure Religion. Accepted. They have accepted it as a religion and is a church now, they have accepted it as a church, the highest, highest position in religion, in America. "
Press Conference. Sofia (Bulgaria),
25-07-1990
💐🙏
"Now, you’ll be surprised that Sahaja Yoga – or we can call the Vishwa Nirmala Dharma – has been accepted in Russia as a religious identity. But it is not religion like other religions are. It is not at all of that kind. It’s a religion where only we believe in compassion, love and also in our own power that nobody can touch you. Nobody can kill you. "
Birthday Felicitations (English part),
Delhi (India), 22-03-2000
💐🙏
"In Russia we have, as you know, maximum number of sahaja yogis, not more than India, but yes. So many of them are there in Russia, and they are so deep, so much understanding. ... He has accepted Sahaja Yoga, it’s a religion in Russia. Of course, it is also a religion in India. But actually it is accepted as an official religion in America. Just imagine!
We think that Americans are so materialistic and this and that. They are only 200 year old nation and how have they grown so deep into spirituality, how did they realise this, that, spirituality is the essence of life. "

Sahaja Yoga helps reduce all the Liver Problems

Dr. Ramesh Manocha from Sydney University has explained as to how sahajayoga treatment helps to solve the problems and diseases of liver.

Here is what I have heard from Shree Mataji from various talks, direct advice to me and a sprinkling of mainstream medical knowledge thrown in:-

  1. The liver is represented by right nabhi and right swadhisthana.
  2. The role of the liver is to

a. Support the attention, ie right side.

b. Remove toxins from the body.

c. Convert fats and proteins to glucose for use by the brain.

  1. Everything we eat goes to the stomach and small intestines where it is broken down into its basic constitutents. These constituents pass through the walls of the gut straight into a special set of blood vessels (called the portal circulation) that transport this blood directly to the liver. Hence everything we swallow goes to the liver to be further broken down and processed before it is sent to the rest of the body.
  2. When fats or proteins are converted to glucose by the liver, heat is also generated, that’s why the liver gets hot when we eat fatty, rich or “liverish” food. It has to work a lot to process fats and proteins but not as much for carbohydrates.
  3. This is also why the liver gets hot when we consume toxic stuff such as alcohol, drugs, preservatives and colouring agents
  4. When the liver becomes overwhelmed by toxins (ie bahdhas) it stores them in fat globules in and around the liver cells.
  5. When these toxin containing fat globules accumulate, the vibrations of the liver are reduced because it fills up with badha. Strangely enough these fat globules can even be seen with a microscope in liver biopsy samples.
  6. As the toxins (badhas) build up, the liver has less capacity to support attention and hence the attention (and hence right side) becomes weak and ultimately “impure”, the person’s behavior becomes ill-tempered and “liverish”. The heat in the right side manifests as too much thinking, poor attention and general difficulty in meditating.
  7. When the liver’s ability to remove heat reaches its limit, other chakras are recruited to help remove the heat, especially vishhudhi. Hence people with very hot livers also have red complexions, and “hot under the collar” behavior.
  8. The excess heat travels up to the Vishuddhi. When the vishuddhi is overwhelmed it travels to the agnya and radiates out of the head, hence the term “hot head”.
  9. Too much heat in the head eventually puts pressure on the back agnya, making it much easier for left sided negativities to affect it despite the fact that the person is right sided. This is why an ice pack on the back of the head can sometimes help back agnya problems- because it reduces the pressure of the overheated right side on the back agnya.
  10. Excess heat can also travel down from right swadhisthan to right mooladhara, causing problems such as haemorrhoids.
  11. When the heat crosses from right mooladhara to left, the whole mooladhara can get affected. This explains why very right sided people can develop “anti- mooladhara” behavior patterns.

Sahaja yoga provides treatment in various forms to overcome all liver associated problems as under -
1. To be selective in consumption of food. Avoiding excess sugar, salt, alcohol, smoking, taking more raw foods than cooked one are some of the measures we can easily adopt in our routine life.
2. Cooling of the liver is greatly accelerated by consumption of large amounts of water. Vibrated water is particularly good because the water molecules have a slightly different “bond angle” that allows for more heat absorption.
3.Daily foot soaking is best for removing all impurities from body, and thus cooling the liver.
4.Daily Meditation is highly beneficial as it helps in changing the individual habits of eating, drinking, work, everything.

Innocence has great effect on our Character

Innocence has a great effect on our character and on our sense of chastity. Actually, when you are innocent, you don’t know what is not chastity, what is being unchaste, what is being cunning. You are innocent and you are looked after by Shri Ganesha Himself.

Anybody who tries to harm a innocent person, Shri Ganesha looks after you and manages you. Many people who are innocent in this world – of course there are very few – but they become so detached from all worldly problems, like lust and greed, and many other. Because they are so pure that nothing can spoil them and malign them. This is such a great blessings we have, that innocence is actually created in us, and it was created much before, all the innocence, everything was created much, much before we were created. It’s such a great quality for us to become innocent.
The greatest quality of Shri Ganesha is joy. It gives you joy, as small children, they may not speak even, but they give us so much joy. Joy giving quality comes from Shri Ganesha. Even after coming to Sahaja Yoga I’ve seen people are not full of joy. Are very serious, they don’t know how to laugh, how to enjoy anything. That’s the sign that they are still lacking in innocence. Shiva Protects Innocent and loving people

In the name of God, those who fight, Shiva comes on them and His trident hits them.
You are not to fight in the name of God, but you have to love and understand. So this fighting in the name of God is a nonsense; not only that but is very, very dangerous. All such people who do that will be destroyed. It is self-destructive. Such people will be destroyed completely.
So, you should understand that, in the name of God you have to love. You have to understand. You need not tolerate nonsense, is different; but you have to love people, spread your love. Gradually this love can go all over the world, and then the vision of mine I can see working out.
But if there is fighting, there’s hatred, there’s all kinds of aggressiveness, these are all against Shiva, and such people will be destroyed. What will I do with them? What can I do if they are destroyed? If they are very money oriented, materialistic people, they are not loving then: they are loving only for money. All such people will be destroyed, no doubt. One should be not only humble, but should be extremely loving.
To get the blessings of Shiva you have to be extremely loving. Such people may not be very cunning, clever; may be very innocent; must be. Because when you love somebody, you want to help that person.
I have suffered myself, I have tried to help people and they have deceived me. So what? That’s their nature and they are destroyed. What can I do? I didn’t ask them that, “You deceive me,” but they deceived me, I don’t know why; and I have been very kind and nice, still they deceived me. So when the destruction follows, what can I do about it?
I don’t want anybody to be destroyed. I love this creation of mine and I don’t have any way of protecting them if they are destructive. Because there is another great power who can destroy them.
This is an absolutely, mine is a helpless condition sometimes I feel and I don’t know how to express. But one has to understand as Sahaj Yogis that with Shiva’s love and His blessings you can become extremely loving, extremely generous, very, very sweet; and innocent like children.
You have to be innocent. There’s no need to be very clever and cunning.
And you will be amazed how your innocence, innocence will be protected. And if you are innocent, you don’t have to worry: there’s a power, it’s the third eye of Shiva, which is looking after you. Wherever you are going, He is with you. That doesn’t mean that you become stupid. It doesn’t mean that you are not practical. All that is taken over, all the practical side, by the power of Shiva. His guidance, His love, His kindness, you can see at every, every step of life.
But first of all, watch your steps! Are you aggressive? Are you troublesome? Do you say harsh things to others? Or are you humble? Are you gentle? And if you are kind, He’s very much pleased with you.

Worshiping Ganesha

To manifest Shri Ganesha, we have to do certain amount of Tapasya – penance.
First we have to say, when we sit for meditation, that:
“I am going to be worthy of Your appreciation. Make me humble, so that I am appreciated by You, and my only desire is to please You.”
Then you sit down in complete preparedness, meditating over your Mooladhara, putting your attention to it with absolute purity. Now you have my photograph before you and you tell the photograph,
“Mother, You are Shri Ganesha. You give me wisdom and discretion”. So, attention at the Mooladhara chakra, which is actually below the sacrum bone.
You put your right hand towards the photograph and left hand on the Mother Earth.
Now this wilI tell you that your mind, or your brain which is full of confusion, which has no discretion, which is complicated, which does the same mistakes again and again, which does not understand how to cure the ills of bad thinking.
All that can be cured if you put your right hand towards Me and the left hand to the Mother Earth. So, in action, you do like that.

Sahajayoga explained- Meaning, practice and benefits

Most people in the Western world would consider Sahaja Yoga a form of meditation, rather than a type of yoga practice. In fact, it is often called Sahaja Meditation in the United States. The idea behind this practice is to bring about "a breakthrough in human awareness" and self realization through mental stillness, rather than through sequences of active postures on a mat.

Sahaja Yoga was founded by Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi in 1970, who spread the practice from her native India to England and America, and then across the world. She believed that enlightenment is not something that can be paid for, and so Sahaja Yoga classes have always been offered free of charge.

Today, Sahaja Yoga classes usually consist of a brief introduction followed by 30 to 40 minutes of guided meditation. During meditation, you should keep your left hand on your lap, palm up, and place your right palm on various parts of the body as directed by your instructor. You may be encouraged to take your shoes off for meditation, so that negative energy can be sucked out through your feet. [Source: SahajaYoga.org]

Practitioners claim that with Sahaja Yoga, unlike other forms of meditation, it is possible to reach self realization and "Thoughtless Awareness" almost immediately -- sometimes during a person's first session. The act of achieving self realization is sometimes referred to as having your Kundalini -- the inner energy coiled inside each of us -- released, or awakened, and the word Sahaja means "in-born," to refer to this inner energy.

Sahaja Yoga focuses on a network of energy channels within the body known as the Subtle System, which starts in the sacrum, at the base of the spine, and rises up through the crown of the head. When a person's inner energy is activated and begins to travel through the Subtle System, according to Sahaja Yoga philosophy, you will actually feel it being released "in the form of a cool, or sometimes warm, breeze." [Source: SahajaMeditation.org]

In a 2012 University of Sydney study, people who regularly practiced Sahaja Yoga–style meditation had higher mental health scores than those who didn't. Meditation has also been linked to other health benefits, including stress relief, an improved immune system, and delayed signs of aging.
